On Thursday, the Carolina Panthers reportedly reached a contract extension with third-year wide receiver Jalen Coker. Their agreement will tack on three more seasons to Coker's stay, keeping the 24-year-old in Charlotte through the 2029 campaign.

Per multiple reports —via Coker's agent, Matt Glose—the new framework adds those three years and $34 million to the existing one-year qualifying offer he received as an exclusive rights free agent this offseason. In all, it's a four-year, $35 million pact that can be worth up to $41 million.
According to Mike Kaye of The Charlotte Observer , Coker will receive a $7 million signing bonus and $19.5 million in guaranteed money.
As for his new annual average salary, the former undrafted free agent will bring in $8.75 million per year. That number puts him in between Arizona's Marvin Harrison Jr. ($8.84 million) and New Orleans' Jordyn Tyson ($8.12 million)—both of whom were first-round picks from the last two seasons.
