- Detroit Lions NFL free agency tracker 2026: Who is signing, who’s out
The Detroit Lions have had a busy start to NFL free agency 2026 , but there is still work to be done.
They had 25 players become unrestricted free agents at the start of the new league year March 11.
The Lions added defense as free agency moved into the second week, signing four defenders to one-year deals. They also signed veteran slot receiver Greg Dortch and Michigan native tight end Tyler Conklin .

Their biggest free-agent signing was adding Carolina Panthers center Cade Mays , who agreed March 9 on a three-year, $25 million deal . A day later, they added running back Isiah Pacheco on a one-year contract worth less than $2 million .
Plenty of familiar faces who played on the 2025 Lions will be playing elsewhere in 2026, most notably linebacker Alex Anzalone on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and cornerback Amik Robertson with the Washington Commanders.
