Lazio are hoping to permanently offload Boulaye Dia and Petar Ratkov next summer, but this hinges on the achievement of certain sporting objectives.
The Senegalese striker has been on the Biancocelesti's books since 2024. While he found mild success at first while playing behind Taty Castellanos , he later failed to impose himself as a centre-forward. On the other hand, the young Serbian didn't get a proper chance under Maurizio Sarri after joining the club last January, so he wasn't able to open his account.
In the final days of the summer transfer window, Lazio parted ways with both players, replacing them with Andrea Pinamonti and Albert Gudmundsson . Dia joined Stade Rennais , while Ratkov headed to Levante . Both completed loans with obligations to buy at the end of the season, but they depend on different conditions.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport , Dia will trigger a permanent transfer to Rennes if the French side can avoid relegation at the end of the season. This should be a relatively easy target considering the squad's quality and their current standings in Ligue 1 (5th with 10 points from five games). The 29-year-old's departure would generate an €8 million transfer fee.
On the other hand, Ratkov has to fulfil much more challenging expectations to seal a €13 million permanent move to Levante. The Serbian bomber must make 20 appearances and score 15 goals. He has thus far made two outings for the Spanish club and has yet to find the back of the net.
