The Los Angeles Dodgers won their 100th game of the season Sunday, scoring four runs in the 10th inning to beat the San Francisco Giants , 5-1.
The Dodgers hadn't won 100 games since 2023, and their win Sunday secured a three-game series sweep over the Giants on the road.
The Dodgers utilized their bullpen for the majority of the game , and they all put together a pretty solid performance. Jack Dreyer got the ball first for the Dodgers, making his third start of the season
Dreyer allowed one run on two hits over the course of two innings, striking out two batters in the process.
After Dreyer came out, Justin Wrobleski threw two scoreless innings, followed by a scoreless, one-inning Roki Sasaki performance out of the bullpen as well. Edwin Diaz also came in for the Dodgers, posting his fifth scoreless performance in a row since returning from the injured list.
Bobby Miller stepped in for the seventh and eighth innings, managing to get out of both without giving up a run despite a near home run from Christian Koss .
Alex Vesia and Evan Phillips handled the final two innings, and didn't allow a baserunner through either frame.
The Dodgers struggled to get much going on the offensive side of the ball, but they still managed to put together a couple of dangerous innings.
After two quiet innings to start the game, Tommy Edman and Shohei Ohtani both singled with one out in the third inning to set up Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman . Unfortunately, neither of the former MVPs could get the job done, as they both went down swinging.

The Dodgers got their opportunity in the following inning, though, and took full control to tie the game at one apiece. Kyle Tucker reached base on an error to start the inning, and a Max Muncy double moved him to third base. Andy Pages stepped up to the plate with one out and did what he had to do, hitting a fly ball deep enough into right field to bring Tucker home.
After the fourth inning, the Dodgers didn't manage to get two runners on until the eighth—though they couldn't capitalize on that opportunity either.
The Dodgers batted first in the 10th inning, but recorded two quick outs. After that, though, Alex Call came through with a double to score Miguel Rojas from second base.
The Giants opted not to pitch to Max Muncy after Call's double, intentionally walking the veteran to get to Andy Pages. Pages made the Giants pay, hitting a three-run homer to break the game open.
Halvorsen threw a scoreless 10th to give the Dodgers the win, and end their regular season on a good note. The Dodgers have won the NL West every season except for one since 2013, and now have 100 wins in six of those years.
They'll hope their strong regular season translates into a strong postseason as they look to claim a historic three-peat in the postseason.
