After moving on from Jaelan Phillips and Bradley Chubb in the last year, the Miami Dolphins brought in a few edge defenders in free agency this offseason to help fill those massive holes.
Among those that the Dolphins signed is David Ojabo , the former second-round pick of the Baltimore Ravens who recorded 32 tackles and 4.5 sacks in his first four seasons in the NFL.
According to Over the Cap , Miami gave Ojabo a one-year deal for the 2026 season worth $1.4 million. It includes a $1.22 million base salary and $187,500 in per-game roster bonuses. His cap number for the year is $1.23 million.
Without any guarantees in his contract, the Dolphins could move on from Ojabo before Week 1 without taking on any dead cap hit for the season. However, with the state of their front seven right now, it's hard to imagine they'd be willing to cut him.
