The Miami Dolphins are entering the upcoming season with a fresh slate. The usual suspects for the past few years, Tua Tagovailoa , Tyreek Hill , and Bradley Chubb , are now gone, along with coach Mike McDaniel. Not a lot is expected from the Dolphins , which might be perfect for a rebuilding squad.
It appears the front office is willing to try anything, including giving forgotten players a look. The Dolphins have signed Malik Willis, Clelin Ferrell , Joshua Uche , David Ojabo , and Ronnie Harrison Jr., among others, in the offseason.
Now, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo, the Dolphins have shown interest in Jack Plummer .

"The Dolphins worked out QB Jack Plummer, who was the UFL MVP with (Orlando) Storm this spring, after the ( San Francisco ) 49ers gave him a look the other day. Plummer took a physical with Miami too. No signing, but could be in play down the line," wrote Garafolo.
After a five-year college career at Purdue, California, and Louisville, Plummer went undrafted in 2024. The Carolina Panthers picked him up and placed him on the practice squad. He eventually made the active roster. It, however, was short-lived, as he was waived in the offseason without playing a single snap.
The 26-year-old signal-caller joined the Storm in January and quickly blossomed. He led the UFL with 2,188 passing yards. He also tallied 17 passing touchdowns.
He will have to fight hard in training camp to earn a roster spot and join the Dolphins' quarterback room, which currently includes Willis, Quinn Ewers , Cam Miller , and Mark Gronowski .
