Benkara himself isn't actually opposed to the prospect of remaining at the Bundesliga club, but currently he lacks a future at Dortmund .
While fellow 18-year-old Luca Reggiani is now a regular member of the first team, Benkara is still waiting for his debut.
The former German youth international still has hopes of playing in the World Cup, having opted to represent Algeria at international level.
So far this season, Benkara has made a total of 17 appearances for the U-23 side, providing one assist while helping to keep 4 clean sheets.
