- Drake Maye shares accomplishment he’s most proud of during 2025 season
Drake Maye accomplished a lot in the 2025 season and has put himself in the MVP conversation . But in a season full of individual accolades, he’s most proud of something the Patriots accomplished as a team.
“I think 14 wins. That’s the first thing that comes to mind. Fourteen wins, and probably 8-0 on the road,” the quarterback said after New England’s 38-10 win over the Miami Dolphins . “That’s probably the biggest thing I’m most proud of. To go on the road eight times and come out victorious in all of them. So, that was pretty cool. From there, the ability to get a lot of people involved. I think that’s one of the best things about our offense.”

In New England ’s win over the New York Jets in Week 17, Maye threw five touchdowns to five different receivers.
The Patriots finished the 2025 regular season with a 14-3 record a year after a second straight 4-13 campaign. They were a perfect 8-0 on the road which included wins against the Buffalo Bills and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers .
Maye took a big leap from Year 1 to Year 2 and helped New England to its first AFC East title since 2019. He racked up 4,394 passing yards, 450 rushing yards and 31 touchdowns. The quarterback’s 76.6 QBR ranks first in the NFL, and Maye eclipsed the 4,000 passing yard mark.
Now as the AFC’s No. 2 seed , the Patriots will host the Los Angeles Chargers in a playoff matchup next week. It will be Maye’s first NFL playoff game.
