The Eagles swapped wide receivers on the roster Thursday morning, releasing Brandon Hayes for the third time and signing Tahj Washington .
Washington, 5-foot-10, 175 pounds, was the Dolphins ' 7th-round pick out of USC in 2024. He missed his entire rookie year with a torn ACL and played in six games last year, with three catches for 37 yards on five targets. He had a career-long 19-yard catch on a pass from Quinn Ewers in a loss to the Patriots in Foxborough on the final day of last year's regular season.
After two years at Memphis, he spent three years at USC, where he was teammates with Eagles rookie 1st-round pick Makai Lemon for one year in 2023. Washington led USC with 59 catches for 1,062 yards and eight touchdowns and led the Pac-12 with 18.0 yards per catch.
