The Philadelphia Eagles ' 11th training camp practice on Thursday featured the team's first big fight, with defensive tackle Moro Ojomo and offensive tackle Fred Johnson needing teammates and staff members to intervene after punches were exchanged .

The incident began during a red-zone team rep when Johnson made contact with Ojomo in the neck just before the whistle. Ojomo reacted by throwing two punches. Despite the confrontation, both players remained on the field for the following snap.
The situation escalated when Ojomo went low at Johnson. Johnson took Ojomo to the ground with his block, and Ojomo swung again after getting up. Johnson then shouted at Ojomo over the low contact. Teammates separated the two, but Ojomo charged back toward Johnson and dove at his knees. The two wrestled shortly before players and staff finally pulled them apart.

Chief security officer Dom DiSandro, known as "Big Dom," was among those who stepped in. General manager Howie Roseman and head coach Nick Sirianni also became involved, particularly as Johnson remained animated following the confrontation.

Roseman spoke with Ojomo before spending around five minutes talking with Johnson, who was seated on blocking pads. Team drills were stopped after the fight, followed by a group huddle to reset the practice. The Eagles then moved into a less competitive developmental period.
The clash came after more than two weeks of training camp work. Earlier in the week, Tyler Steen and Ty Robinson had also been involved in a brief skirmish following a one-on-one rep, but the Ojomo-Johnson incident was different because punches were thrown.
The practice was Philadelphia's final session before its preseason opener against the Baltimore Ravens . After that game, the Eagles are scheduled to hold joint practices with the New England Patriots next week in Foxborough.
