- Elias Pettersson Reaches Eighth All-Time In Assists By A Canuck
Shortly after scoring his 202nd career goal and hitting ninth all-time in goals scored , Elias Pettersson has reached yet another milestone in Vancouver Canucks franchise history. Registering his 311th assist as a Canuck on Aatu Räty's goal against the Calgary Flames, Pettersson has now reached eighth all-time in assists in franchise history, passing defenceman Alex Edler (310) for the record.
Pettersson has gotten his 2026-27 season off to an intriguing start so far. The forward registered goals and points in his first two games, both against the Edmonton Oilers, while also recording three points in Thursday's 9-7 loss . This wave of early offence comes after a 2025-26 season that saw him register 15 goals and 36 assists in 74 games.

Now at eighth in franchise history, the next player Pettersson will look to leapfrog in the all-time assists category is Thomas Gradin (353). After Gradin, currently occupying sixth all-time with 371 assists is Quinn Hughes. To crack the franchise's top-five, Pettersson will have to get to 410 assists, nearly 100 more than his current total.
