Preview of RSC Anderlecht clash
With four points already on the board and plenty of momentum behind them, our Red Bulls head into a crucial phase of the UEFA Europa League this Thursdayat 18:45 CET. In this away fixture in Belgium, our boys are aiming to take another major step towards the knockout stages while keeping the Belgian record champions at bay.

The momentum is certainly behind them. Following a 1-0 win in Sofia and an intense 2-2 draw in Celje, our team demonstrated exactly the kind of attacking flair needed on the international stage during Sunday's league match. A resounding 5-1 win against Lustenauallowed our attack to find its rhythm and build plenty of confidence ahead of the trip to Belgium.
However, they will face opponents that have recently roared back to life. After a difficult start, Anderlecht got themselves back into the race for the knockout stages on the last matchday with a 3-0 away win against Jagiellonia Białystok. Domestically, things are also clicking for the side managed by 43-year-old Portuguese coach Vítor Bruno. This past weekend, the Violets swept KVC Westerlo aside 4-1, climbing to fifth place in the Jupiler Pro League.
Everything is set for a true test of our maturity in the cauldron of RSC Anderlecht's home ground. The match will be broadcast on Canal+ in Austria. You can learn more about our opponents in our opposition profile:

Anderlecht shares some similarities with us - they have a young, fast, and technically gifted squad. The key for us in this clash will be to remain focused and consistent throughout the entire match. If we manage that, we can bring something home from Brussels.

I think two strong teams are meeting here, both capable of playing at a similarly high level. I know that if we push ourselves to our limit, we can win the match. At the same time, we are well aware of how strong Anderlecht can be, as we have analysed them thoroughly in preparation. Personally, I'm really looking forward to the match in Brussels — it's very close to where I am from. Many of my family members and friends will be there, which gives me an extra boost.
