Former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings did not hold back on Aaron Rodgers for his comments on Roman Wilson.
Wilson made a critical mistake in Tuesday's practice, resulting in an interception. And Rodgers publicly called him out for it. The four-time NFL MVP also showered Wilson with praise, too, however.
Jennings did not care about that part, though. He thinks Rodgers has a long history of throwing young receivers under the bus.
"I've never liked this. He's not doing this to DK [Metcalf]. He's not doing this to Davante Adams. You don't take something that we can resolve, and I get it, he talked glowingly about Roman… But Roman is listening to that, and immediately, when you hear 'that's the second time,' it's like a reprimand of like, we didn't even need to know about the first time," Jennings said on FS1's First Things First . "This has been the issue that I've always had. When we look at Rodgers, it's like, do you ever do anything wrong?"

Rodgers addressing Wilson's mistake made headlines, but he also said the third-year receiver out of Michigan was one of the best players at training camp.
"Roman is a great kid," Rodgers said. "He's had a fantastic camp. I have utmost confidence in him. He's going to have to play a big role for us. But mistakes can happen. That's a great one to happen in practice. But he's gotten a lot better, and I'm really proud of Roman.
" DK [Metcalf] and Roman have had arguably two of the top probably five camps on the team," Rodgers said. "DK has looked unbelievable, and Roman's gotten a lot better. I would say Pat Freiermuth should be in the mix too. Pat's had a fantastic camp."
Wilson is probably going to start the season as the team's No. 1 slot receiver, but rookie Germie Bernard is not all that far behind.
"I think he's done a nice job," Rodgers said. "You know, it's tough for rookies. There's that wall you hit in training camp and a wall you hit during the regular season. So we know that's going to come at some point, but he's got a great attitude. He really wants to learn.
"The best thing I can say about him is he hasn't made repeat mistakes. There's no mistakes going to happen. It's part of the game, especially for young guys. But, you know, when he does make a mistake, he takes it to heart and studies it and makes sure he doesn't repeat that thing."
Those two quotes back-to-back really show how much pressure there is on Wilson to perform, and to clean up the mental mistakes that have plagued his time in Pittsburgh.
