Fabrizio Ravanelli is closely following Juventus and their efforts to improve as a team, and he has identified two players he believes should be regular starters for the Bianconeri. The former striker feels the club must make better use of the quality available in their squad if they are to achieve their ambitions this season.
Juventus have several talented players, but getting the best out of them depends heavily on the manager's decisions and tactical approach. Spalletti has to find a system that allows his strongest performers to contribute without compromising the balance of the team.
The competition for places has also limited opportunities for some players, including Edon Zhegrova and Kerim Alajbegovic. Both have shown what they can offer, but they have not always been given regular starting roles.
Their performances against Napoli, however, provided a strong argument for greater involvement. Alajbegovic started the match and scored , while Zhegrova came off the bench and supplied an assist. Their contributions helped Juventus secure an important victory and caught Ravanelli's attention.
Ravanelli wants Zhegrova and Alajbegovic to start
The former Juventus forward believes both players possess the technical quality and personality required to make a difference. He feels the team should be built in a way that allows them to play regularly, rather than leaving either on the sidelines.
Ravanelli also believes Alajbegovic's response to the opportunity against Napoli should have impressed Spalletti. The youngster showed confidence and character, qualities that could make him an important figure in the squad.
Speaking via Calciomercato , Ravanelli made clear how highly he rates the two players and why he thinks they deserve regular places in the starting line-up.
"If I go to war, I want these players. Against Napoli, one of his moves led to the goal. In football, you need quality and the personality to show it off. For me, Zhegrova and Alajbegovic must play at Juve. Then the team needs to adapt, but for me, they absolutely must play. I think Spalletti should be happy with Alajbegovic, given how he responded. Luciano loves the challenge, and deep down, he must have thought he had a player with charisma. The Bosnian did things that brash players who don't feel pressure do."

Spalletti faces an important selection decision
Ravanelli's comments put the spotlight on Spalletti's responsibility to find a suitable place for both players. Juventus have enough quality in their squad, but the manager must make decisions that allow their most influential talents to contribute.
If Zhegrova and Alajbegovic continue to deliver when given opportunities, it will become increasingly difficult to justify leaving either out.
