Evan McPherson's Week 5 Fantasy Outlook at Miami
McPherson opened the season with three straight double-digit fantasy performances before Cincinnati's offense finally slowed down in Week 4. He was limited to one field-goal attempt and two extra points against Jacksonville.
The matchup with Miami gives him a strong chance to rebound. Cincinnati should have more opportunities to move into scoring range, which is all McPherson needs to get back to the production fantasy managers saw over the first three weeks.
Accuracy hasn't been the issue. McPherson has converted all nine of his field-goal attempts and all 10 extra points this season, while also showing off his range with a long make of 58 yards.
McPherson sits at K2 for Week 5. If Cincinnati creates the scoring opportunities expected in this matchup, he should have multiple paths to another strong fantasy day.
Ka'imi Fairbairn's Week 5 Fantasy Outlook at Tennessee
Fairbairn hasn't matched last season's consistency through four weeks, but the problem has had more to do with Houston's offense than with his kicking.
He has made all nine of his extra points and seven of eight field-goal attempts, yet Week 4 was his first double-digit fantasy performance. The Texans scored at least 30 points in Weeks 1 and 4, which also produced Fairbairn's two best fantasy totals at 9.0 and 16.0 points.

In Houston's other two games, the offense combined for just 23 points, leaving Fairbairn with far fewer chances to produce.
Tennessee offers a better setup. Fairbairn attempted multiple field goals in his lone appearance against the Titans last season, while Houston's replacement kicker attempted three in the other meeting. Tennessee has allowed enough scoring opportunities without forcing every drive to end in a touchdown.
Fairbairn checks in at K5 for Week 5. The Texans need more offensive production, and this matchup gives him a good chance to build on his strongest fantasy performance of the season.
