Fastest players in the Premier League 2026/27 so far
Pace remains one of the most devastating weapons in the Premier League , but which players have clocked the fastest speeds in 2026/27?
One of the summer arrivals leads the way for the campaign so far, with Liverpool winger Bradley Barcola posting the highest top speed of the Premier League season.

Barcola was clocked at a blistering 35.93 km/h during his debut for the Reds at Ipswich Town, following his £116m arrival from Paris Saint-Germain.
That lightning speed puts Barcola ahead of Manchester United forward Bryan Mbeumo , who sits in second place. Mbeumo was also among the fastest footballers last season, ranking seventh for the highest-speed clocked across the 2025/26 campaign.
Tottenham Hotspur defender Micky van de Ven holds the all-time Premier League record for the fastest top speed at 37.38 km/h (clocked against Brentford in January 2024).
From flying forwards to rapid full-backs, here are the fastest players in the Premier League this season.
