Fiorentina opens door for Juventus target to leave in January
Dodo has been one of the best right backs in Serie A over the last few seasons, and he is the reason Michael Kayode moved to Brentford, as he was not to be benched at Fiorentina. Juventus is one of the clubs that has been following him closely over the last few seasons, and the Bianconeri would have loved to sign him, which could now happen for free.
La Viola probably wishes they had sold him and kept Kayode because Dodo has refused to sign a new deal at the club so far, and his contract expires at the end of this season. This is good news for Juve, and Football Italia reports that La Viola has confirmed he will not extend his contract at the club and will be leaving them at the end of this term.

Juventus' Chance to Sign Dodo
He is considered one of the most reliable defenders in Serie A, and Juve can add him to their squad at the end of this season for free. However, so far, Pierre Kalulu has done well in that role, and Dodo might struggle for game time if he moves to Turin.
The Brazilian's quality is not in question, and his experience would be a valuable addition, but the competition for places is fierce. Juventus's interest is genuine, but the club must weigh the benefits against the competition for game time.

Competition for His Signature
But Juve is not the only club interested in signing him, with the report naming AC Milan as another team that can sign him. The race for his signature will be fierce, and the defender's next move is uncertain.

Dodo's decision will hinge on regular playing time, and both clubs can offer that, but the competition is real. The fans will be hoping Juventus can get the deal done, as his quality would strengthen the squad.
The coming months will show whether Dodo moves to Turin, as the race for his signature heats up. The defender's future is bright, and a move to a bigger club seems likely. The summer window will be key.
