It's a mostly NHL roster for the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday night. The Flyers will search for their first preseason win on Thursday when they host the Boston Bruins at Xfinity Mobile Arena, with puck drop at 7:00 PM ET.

Philly will be without goalie Dan Vladar and forward Denver Barkey as both players remain sidelined with injury.

All eyes will be on Cole Knuble and Jett Luchanko, two bright spots for the Flyers so far in camp, as they both find themselves in the middle of the final roster battle.

Nikita Grebenkin will also make his return from injury on Thursday, playing in a game for the first time since March 21st of last season.

We will also see stars like Trevor Zegras , Travis Konecny , Matvei Michkov , and more take the ice for the Flyers in front of the home crowd. Here is the full roster for Thursday's game.

Notes

Per head coach Rick Tocchet, goaltender Joseph Woll will get the full game on Thursday, barring anything unexpected. This will be his first full game with the Flyers. While Tocchet reported good news regarding the status of Dan Vladar, it is still unclear if he'll be good to go as the Game 1 starter. With that, it's important that Woll gets a full game before the regular season begins. This will likely be his last action before the season kicks off.

As mentioned earlier, all eyes should be on, and will be on, Jett Luchanko and Cole Knuble, two stars for the Flyers so far in preseason and training camp. Both players have come in and exceeded expectations, and find themselves right in the middle of the roster battle for that one last spot. With no Oliver Bonk in the lineup on Thursday, this could be a chance for either player to make a push and separate themselves.

However, it will be hard to focus on the roster battle when several high-profile players are making their 2026-27 preseason debuts on Thursday. This will be the first game action for the "new and improved" Matvei Michkov. Travis Konecny and Trevor Zegras also take the ice for the Flyers, as will Nikita Grebenkin. Christian Dvorak and Sean Couturier. We'll also get to see the Flyers' top-4 defensemen in action.

The Flyers will also get to debut their potential new top power-play unit of Jamie Drysdale, Zegras, Martone, Michkov, and Tyson Foerster. With all of the skill on that unit, it could be a dangerous one if they can put it all together. Thursday could be the first game action for that group.
