The Bruins finish their regular season against the Devils at home on Tuesday.
With the playoffs already clinched, the Bruins rested several regulars. Charlie McAvoy , Hampus Lindholm , Pavel Zacha and Tanner Jeannot all sat out creating an unusual lineup that included James Hagens in his first NHL game.
The desperate Blue Jackets pulled ahead early when Mason Marchment scored 3:59 into the game. But Kuraly tied the game just over the midway point of the first when the puck caromed off him to make it 1-1.
Hagens helped the Bruins pull ahead late in the second. He finished a check on Denton Mateychuk and pushed the puck to Kuraly, who fed Henri Jokiharju . The defenseman snapped the puck by Jet Greaves to make it 2-1 with 19 seconds left in second.
Adam Fantilli tied the game early in the third, but Mark Kastelic , on another Kuraly assist, scored the game winner with 9:38 left.
Korpisalo made it stand up.
