The Swedish centre-back was the unlikely goalscoring hero as Celta fought back to earn a 1-1 draw against Getafe in La Liga.
Martin Satriano had given Getafe the lead after 21 minutes, leaving Celta trailing at the interval.
But Starfelt dragged his side level in the 57th minute with an impressive finish from a corner, launching himself towards the ball and powering a diving header beyond goalkeeper David Soria .
Getafe were later reduced to ten men when Zaid Romero was shown a red card with around 20 minutes remaining, but Celta were unable to find a winner.
The result leaves the Spanish side still searching for their first league victory of the season, having recorded three draws and two defeats.
Starfelt will soon be reunited with some familiar faces when Celta travel to Glasgow to face Celtic in European action on October 22.
The 31-year-old spent two seasons at Parkhead before leaving Celtic for Celta in 2023 in a deal worth around £4million.
