The Dolphins decided to waive him after taking three wide receivers in the 2026 NFL draft and after Washington muffed a punt in their preseason loss to the New York Giants .
Washington will have a lot of work to do if he wants to make he roster in Philadelphia, especially considering the Eagles play on Friday and then have to cut their roster down to 53 players by Sunday night.
