Aerial Powers, who played for the Indiana Fever during the 2025 season, is set to suit up for Team USA in the FIBA 3×3 AmeriCup tournament in El Salvador.
Powers averaged 9.0 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists in the eight regular-season games she played with the Fever in 2025. Despite that, she was left unsigned and did not play in the WNBA in 2026.
The 32-year-old guard played for Turkish club Çanakkale Belediyespor following her stint with the Fever. In August, she also represented the United States in the FIBA 3×3 Women's Series.
Over the weekend, Powers was named to the USA's roster for the 3×3 AmeriCup, alongside fellow WNBA players Sydney Taylor, Flau'jae Johnson and Aziaha James.

Powers and the USA women's squad will officially begin their campaign in the tournament on Saturday, facing off against Colombia first before playing the Cayman Islands four hours later.
Before they take the court in El Salvador, however, Powers asked for her fans to support the team and watch the games.
"Lock in with us," Powers wrote in her Instagram stories, while sharing Team USA's post about the men's and women's AmeriCup schedule.
It remains to be seen if Powers and Team USA can win the FIBA 3×3 AmeriCup. However, it's worth noting that the Americans have dominated the competition since its inaugural season in 2021.
The USA women's team has already won the AmeriCup three times and is currently the defending champion. Last year's squad featured Shakira Austin, Veronica Burton, Allisha Gray and Naz Hillmon.
