Former Indiana Fever forward Chloe Bibby got off to a hot start in her stint with Valencia Basket Club. In fact, she already received a major recognition after just one game.
Bibby left the United States over a week ago and signed a temporary contract with Valencia. The team is currently playing in the EuroLeague Women and the Spanish top-flight women's basketball league Liga Femenina Endesa.
The 28-year-old made her debut with Valencia on Wednesday against Romanian team CS Rapid Bucuresti in the EuroLeague. Bibby tallied 22 points on 8-of-11 shooting, along with five rebounds, two assists and one steal.
As a result of her performance, EuroLeague Women announced on Saturday that Bibby had been named the Player of the Week.

"Ladies & gentlemen, your #EuroLeagueWomen Player of the Week: @chloe_bibby," EuroLeague Women posted on social media, along with a graphic showing Bibby's stats.
Bibby, for her part, shared the post in her Instagram stories, although she did not write any caption.
It's certainly great to see Bibby thrive in Valencia. Getting more playing time will be beneficial to her development, especially as she looks to establish a more prominent role in the WNBA.
Bibby played a total of just 23 games over the last two seasons. She played in a combined nine games for the Chicago Sky and Minnesota Lynx in 2026, averaging 4.9 points and 1.0 rebound.
The Australian forward played for the Fever in 2025, appearing in nine games and putting up 3.9 points and 1.2 rebounds in 9.8 minutes per outing. Prior to Indiana, she was a member of the Golden State Valkyries.
