A former Nebraska wide receiver has transferred out of the Big Ten for the 2026 season. Alante Brown has signed with the Memphis Tigers of the American Athletic Conference.
Brown committed to Nebraska in 2020 and played in 30 games as a Husker. In three seasons, he had 22 catches for 262 receiving yards while returning 22 kickoffs for 284 yards.
After his time at Lincoln, he transferred to Michigan State, where he appeared in only 18 games over three years. He had only five catches for 47 yards during that span.
Brown has dealt with injury issues over the last couple of seasons. He was injured during pregame warm-ups against Youngstown State in Week 3 of the 2025 season and appeared in only three games.
The wide receiver has one year of eligibility remaining.
