Former Notre Dame safety and cornerback Nick McCloud was quite the NFL success story, going undrafted but being able to stay in the league now for five years .
The extension of that time will now continue as the Miami Dolphins announced it has signed the 28-year old defender on Monday . McCloud has bounced around different organization's since entering the NFL, starting with the Buffalo Bills as a member of their practice squad in 2021 before making the active roster with the New York Giants .
He'd stay there for three seasons, before being traded to the San Francisco Giants. McCloud played last year with the Chicago Bears , but now has a new home. Hopefully this is one where he can stay at for the foreseeable future, as he's more than talented enough to make an impact.
