A hog molly will be moving up north.

Samac, a Michigan State University product, cracked into the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Baltimore Ravens in 2024. The Panthers, one year later, would sign Samac off the Ravens' practice squad.
He'd go on to appear in 11 games for Carolina throughout the 2025 campaign, with all 46 of his snaps coming on special teams.
In addition to Samac, third-year inside linebacker Trevin Wallace —who was also waived on Sunday—was claimed off the wire this afternoon. Wallace, a third-round pick of the Panthers back n 2024, will be joining the New York Jets .
