- FSU football's offensive keys vs. Boston College
Florida State will look different for the rest of the season on offense. That's because their top wide receiver, Duce Robinson, is out for the year after suffering a torn ACL. This was a devastating blow to FSU's offense, and it makes things tougher on them as a unit as he joins running backs Ousmane Kromah and Samuel Singleton Jr., who are also out.
This Saturday, they will play the Boston College Eagles on the road as they look to stop an 11-game losing streak away from Doak Campbell Stadium. They'll be facing an Eagles' defense that can be taken advantage of, but their execution will be a key factor.

Here are the offensive keys for Florida State.
Micahi Danzy and Jayvan Boggs need to be focal points
This is a no-brainer. With Robinson out, Danzy and Boggs are the main weapons in the passing game for quarterback Ashton Daniels. The speed of Danzy needs to be utilized with shots downfield, and the route-running of Boggs allows him to get open and be a chain mover. Daniels needs to feed them, but it won't be easy against the 35th-ranked pass defense of Boston College.
Find a way to establish the run
Quintrevion Wisner is questionable to play after showing up on FSU's injury report on Wednesday. If he were to miss this game, then true freshman Amari Thomas will get the start. That wouldn't be ideal as he's only logged four carries on the season. Nonetheless, the Seminoles must keep Boston College's defense honest as much as possible because a one-dimensional attack would feed into the Eagles' strength defensively, which is defending the pass.

Figure out the third-down defense of Boston College
The Eagles are a little below average on defense, but they've shined on third down. They're only allowing opponents to convert on 33.7% of their third-down attempts. Florida State's conversion rate isn't that high offensively at 38.6%. So, although it will likely be difficult, FSU has to find a way to keep the chains moving.
Take advantage of Boston College's poor red zone defense
Boston College might be good in third down, but they've been awful once teams get in the red zone. They've given up 29 scores out of 32 red zone visits by opposing offenses (90.6%), with 20 touchdowns surrendered. Florida State has scored on 27 of their 31 attempts (87.1%) with 22 touchdowns. When they get to the red zone, the Seminoles must put up points.

Don't turn the ball over
Boston College doesn't score a lot of points offensively at just 21.6 a game. One way to have that number go up significantly is if FSU turns the ball over and sets the Eagles' offense up in favorable positions to score. Ashton Daniels will have to be efficient and not give the ball back to Boston College.
