In a recent report , journalist Pete O'Rourke offered an update on the future of Sunderland winger Chemsdine Talbi . It has been claimed that the Moroccan talent is close to leaving the Black Cats to join Al-Ittihad in the coming days.
Talbi played a useful role in the Wearside club's squad in the previous campaign as he managed to put in a run of productive displays for them in the Premier League. The 21-year-old scored four times and earned a couple of assists in 30 matches for Sunderland last season in various competitions.
The Moroccan talent is currently one of the most gifted young wingers in the Premier League . However, Regis Le Bris has struggled to offer him a regular first-team spot at the Wearside club this season.
His current contract at the Stadium of Light will run out in the summer of 2030. Hence, the Black Cats are under no immediate pressure to cash in on him.

Talbi is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and can make some driving runs with it out on the flanks. He has the vision to engineer some inviting chances in the final third and can shoot the ball with venom from long range.
The Moroccan sensation can even contribute by scoring and creating a few important goals for his side. Talbi is primarily a right-winger but can also operate as a left-sided wide player or play in the number ten position if asked to do so. However, he is not guaranteed a regular first-team spot at the Wearside club and could benefit from a change of scenery in search of more first-team starts in the future.
Hence, it is only fair to Talbi if the Black Cats allow him to leave this month. He would benefit from such a move, while Sunderland can trim their squad and make room for further additions to their squad next year.
At 21, Talbi has a bright future ahead of him as long as he continues to improve with each year. Therefore, his exit would be a good move for both the player and the Wearside club this month.
