After Osmajic 's first Serie A goal, Cesc Fabregas ' side cut loose, scoring 3 goals in 15 minutes through their three playmakers Baturina , Diao and Nico Paz . The second half was all about game management, lit up only by Diao's fourth goal from an assist by substitute Moise Kean .
🫂 Kean assist, Diao brace
In the 79th minute, Moise Kean showed his new coach Fabregas his full repertoire — and then some. The striker dropped deep to receive, laid it off nearby and then attacked the space, where he was picked out.
Driving forward with the ball at his feet, as he reached the edge of the box, instead of going for goal he squared it to Diao. It was a perfect assist for the Senegalese forward's angled right-footed finish, which made it four.
🔄 Kean debut, Nico Paz hits the post
In the 66th minute, Moise Kean made his debut in a Como shirt, coming on for Tasos Douvikas in a rotation we'll likely see all season long.
Even with the match already wrapped up, the players kept pushing for another goal, and Nico Paz hit the post in the 68th minute with a thunderous strike from the edge of the area that Bijlow could have done nothing about.
🤩 Como at their best, Nico Paz makes it three
Como were playing with complete ease and in the 40th minute made their clear superiority count by grabbing the 3-1 with a textbook move.
A wonderful through ball from Yan Couto — nominally a right-back, but one who handles the ball and sees the game like a playmaker — sent Nico Paz in behind, and the Argentine beat Bijlow at his near post with his right foot. That's now 20 goals and 15 assists for him since arriving at Como: explosive.
🔥 Comeback completed in ELEVEN minutes, Diao doubles up
In the 30th minute, with an ease and dominance that was seriously impressive, Como completed the comeback and went in front.
Valle sent in a cross from the left, and Ostigard got a touch with his head but only made a mess of it, gifting the ball to Diao. The striker's volley was excellent, though Bijlow was far from flawless on the play and, despite getting to it, could not keep it out.
🎯 Baturina rocket, Como level at 1-1
Como's deficit lasted only 6 minutes, because Martin Baturina is in sparkling form and proved it once again with his second goal in a row.
From 20 metres out, slightly left of centre, the Croatian was allowed to control and shoot without too much pressure because of a defensive mistake stepping out. The attacking midfielder was clinical with his diagonal effort, rifling it into the bottom corner with incredible power.
⚽️ Osmajic's first goal
In the 19th minute, Genoa took the lead by making the most of their strengths. A ball played in behind the defence by Baldanzi created a 1-v-1 between Colombo and Ramon, the striker won it and from the right picked out Osmajic in the middle.
The 27-year-old Montenegrin striker, making just his second appearance for the Grifone, got in front of Chalobah at the near post and gave Butez no chance.
