The Rossoneri move to 70 points in 3rd place: to be sure of a Champions League spot, a win against Cagliari will be enough. Roma are level on points, but trail in the head-to-head record. Here is the full overview of the table and the Champions League race.

After a first half with few shots and a Milan side virtually non-existent in attack, it took an error early in the second half—a misplaced back-pass from Amorim and a mistimed rush out by Bijlow —to bring about the penalty on Nkunku, who did well to make it 1-0 from the spot.
The match was then suspended for 5 minutes due to the throwing of several flares and even a coin. The drama increased late on with Athekame's goal from outside the box (set up by the introductions of Pulisic and Fullkrug) for 2-0. Shortly after, Maignan denied Ekhator, but he could do nothing about Vasquez's goal: a close-range finish after a scramble that made it 2-1 at full time.
👿 Allegri furious after missed chances
MINUTE 99 -In the 10 minutes of added time, Milan had several chances to kill off the match but failed to take them, prompting Allegri to erupt with one of his classic touchline rants at the end of games.
🤯 Genoa pull one back: Vasquez makes it 1-2
MINUTE 86 -A ball into the box allows Marcandalli to flick it on with a header to Vasquez, and a rebound falls kindly for the defender, who scores with a sliding finish from close range. A few minutes earlier, Maignan had denied Ekhator.

Pulisic, Fullkrug and De Winter come on for the final stretch of the match.
🛑 Flares and a coin on the pitch: match suspended for 5'
MINUTE 52 and 58 -The match was stopped for about 5 minutes due to flares and a coin being thrown near Milan's penalty area: referee Sozza suspended play while Genoa's players tried to calm the curva.
💣 Nkunku scores from the spot: 1-0! Amorim madness
MINUTE 49 -Amorim miscues a back-pass that Nkunku pounces on, and Bijlow comes out late and clatters into the striker. A brief scuffle breaks out before the penalty, which is taken by Nkunku himself: the Genoa goalkeeper is sent the wrong way.
