The 6-foot-1, 210-pound Campbell plays for Miami Carol City High.
He picked Georgia over Nebraska after getting a Bulldog offer on May 10.
"I like how they work and like how the coaches pushed them," Campbell told the Athens Banner-Herald in a text message. "This will help get me to the next level."
Defensive coordinator/inside linebacker coach Glenn Schumann certainly has churned out NFL draft picks, the latest being Colts second rounder CJ Allen.
Campbell is currently the only defensive player who has publicly committed to the Bulldogs. Georgia had two cornerbacks decommit recently: five-star Donte Wright and four-star Jerry Outhouse.
