The New York Giants closed the preseason with a 23-6 win over the New York Jets on Friday night at MetLife Stadium, finishing 2-1 in John Harbaugh's first exhibition slate.

After Chip Trayanum 's opening-drive touchdown put Big Blue behind 6-0, Tyrone Tracy Jr. answered with a six-yard score and the Giants never trailed again. Dominic Zvada was perfect from 23, 53 and 46 yards, Jake Haener found Xavier Gipson for a 37-yard touchdown, and the defense shut out the Jets the rest of the way.

Most projected starters sat or played limited snaps as Big Blue piled up more than 400 yards and held the ball for nearly 40 minutes. Sunday's 6:00 p.m. deadline to trim the roster to 53 now looms, with several bubble players having made their last arguments before the September 13 opener against Dallas .

Whose stock is up and whose is down after the Week 3 preseason victory? Let's take a look.

Stock up: LB Trace Ford

Ford put on quite the show during the team's final dress rehearsal. He was all over the field, recording five tackles (four solo, three for a loss), two passes defensed, two QB hits, one sack, and a near interception. If the Giants carry four edge rushers, he will make the team -- and I believe he will

Stock down: WR Braxton Berrios

The opportunity for Berrios to lock up a roster spot was there, but he came up small in a big moment. He hauled in just one of his four targets for 15 yards, fumbling in the process and costing the Giants points. He also missed a block on a 16-yard Tyrone Tracy Jr. run that could have potentially gone for a touchdown.

Stock up: WR Odell Beckham Jr.

In what may or may not have been his final game as a Giant, Beckham left it all on the field before being subbed out. He caught three passes for 53 yards and, as he's done all summer, was consistently getting open. He had a potential walk-in touchdown overthrown by Jameis Winston , and still nearly came down with the diving grab. OBJ settled nicely into zones to give his quarterbacks opportunities, and also managed to catch a pass thrown behind him while shaking off a defender.

Stock down: Defensive tackles

Up and down the roster, this unit did not show up against the Jets. Darius Alexander once again struggled, while rookie Bobby Jamison-Travis was blown off the ball several times -- at one point being washed three players over. Once the waiver period begins, expect the Giants to put in several claims.

Stock up: RB Tyrone Tracy Jr.

After back-to-back weeks with crushing errors, Tracy Jr. rebounded and reminded the Giants that he's been a productive back for them in recent years. He ran the ball well, showed some explosiveness, and steadied the ground beneath him. Unfortunately, he was forced out of the game due to a head/neck injury, although he cleared a concussion evaluation.
