- Green Bay Packers working out former UDFA ahead of Week 5
The Green Bay Packers have been looking to get going, sitting with a 2-2 record. With a lot of talented wide receivers still remaining on the team's schedule, getting stronger in the secondary is critical. They have also been dealing with injuries already on the defensive side of the ball, making things more challenging going forward. Let's take a deeper dive into who Green Bay is looking at as a possible addition ahead of Week 5.

NFL insider Jordan Schultz is reporting that the Green Bay Packers are working out former Atlanta Falcons cornerback Cobee Bryant on Tuesday afternoon. Bryant was an undrafted free agent last season and played seven games (one start) and recorded 10 total tackles (eight solo, two assists) with one pass deflection. He struggled in coverage, though, allowing 11 catches on 15 targets (73.3 completion percentage allowed) for 175 yards and one touchdown.

It will be intriguing to see if anything comes out of this workout and if there will be a deal handed out. The Packers play some difficult wide receivers before their bye week. The schedule before their Week 11 bye is also listed below:
Week 5: vs. Chicago Bears
Week 6: vs. Dallas Cowboys
Week 7: at Detroit Lions
Week 8: vs. Carolina Panthers (Thursday)
Week 9: at New England Patriots
Week 10: vs. Minnesota Vikings
With the difficulty of wide receivers to go up against, getting secondary help without having to trade away draft picks is critical for the team's success. Also, having injuries on the defensive side of the football will make getting reinforcements significant. It will be intriguing to see if the front office makes some signings to help the secondary get better.
