Gulacsi, robbed at gunpoint, ruled out of Villarreal-Napoli
Goalkeeper Péter Gulácsi will not play in the Champions League match between Villarreal and Napoli. His absence follows a violent armed robbery at his home in the early hours of this morning.
The news was first reported by local outlet 'El partit de la Una', which confirmed the seriousness of the incident. So far, few specific details have emerged about the investigation into the attackers.

Fortunately, neither the goalkeeper nor his family suffered any physical injuries during the break-in. However, the psychological impact and fear they experienced have been severe given the ordeal they endured.
In these difficult circumstances, the Castellón-based club and the player jointly agreed to leave him out of the squad. Both sides put the goalkeeper's emotional well-being and peace of mind ahead of sporting considerations.
Villarreal will therefore face the decisive European clash against the Italian side without the goalkeeper. Luiz Junior will play in his place.
