Indianapolis Colts tight end Mo Alie-Cox has issued a response to owner Carlie Irsay-Gordon's activity on the sidelines during their games.
The Colts have endured a tough run of form that has carried into the 2026/27 season, with them losing their opening two games of the current campaign.
Amid a difficult spell, questions have been asked of Irsay-Gordon and her sideline activity during games.
But Alie-Cox has now been quizzed on the situation and has said 'It doesn't bother any of us', and he doesn't 'know why it bothers people who aren't in the organisation'.
Mo Alie-Cox insists Colts players not bothered by Carlie Irsay-Gordon's sideline activity
In a clip shared via The Athletic, the tight end stated: "One, it's not an issue because she doesn't bother us. I think mainly she's just trying to learn the game of football, learn what we're doing, you know what I mean?
"She owns the team, so she wants to know what's going on, and it's not like she's talking over the headset telling people what to do or different things like that.
"I really think it's just a learning thing and stuff like that, so it doesn't really bother us. And, it's been going on for years.
"It's not like it's something that just started. It's just, I guess, they're taking more notice now because she's main owner and not Jim anymore.
"But it's been going on for a while, so doesn't bother any of us, and I don't know why it bothers people who aren't in the organisation because at the end of the day, it would affect us, not them."
Still, while it's not something that bothers the players, some people will probably keep bringing it up while the Colts are struggling.
They are 0-9 when taking into account how they ended 2025/26, but they may have a good chance to end that unwanted streak this week when they take on the Houston Texans (0-2 this season) on Sunday.
