Despite the strong and understandable pressure from across Europe, the Roman management maintains a position of absolute power and complete control over the player's contractual situation.
Wesley is tied to the Roman club by a long-term contract that expires in 2030.
This corporate security guarantees maximum peace of mind for Trigoria, categorically ruling out any kind of urgency related to the need to cash in or accept low-ball offers from interested buyers.
As club officials have forcefully reiterated on multiple occasions, the deal is extremely expensive: to negotiate a transfer and secure Roma's approval, a monstrous offer of around €60 million will be needed.
