Inter Milan have been scouting Sassuolo winger Armand Lauriente as they plan for a potential tactical shift that would require genuine wide attackers and trequartistas behind a single striker.
According to L'Interista , Inter's technical staff have been observing the France international as part of a broader search for players who could fit Cristian Chivu 's preferred attacking structure.
The 27-year-old has contributed five goals and eight assists across 33 league appearances this season, a consistent output that underlines his versatility across all attacking positions.
Indeed, the financial opportunity is significant.
Lauriente's contract expires in 2027, meaning Sassuolo 's asking price is lower than it would otherwise be for a player of his quality.
Furthermore, the club's valuation currently stands at no less than €15 million.
Indeed, a figure Inter would consider manageable given the broader context of their summer rebuild.
Therefore, Lauriente represents the kind of pragmatic, value-driven signing that suits Inter's recruitment philosophy under Oaktree.
However, L'Interista are clear this remains at an observation stage rather than a concrete pursuit.
The summer market will be busy for Inter's hierarchy, with multiple positions to fill across a squad undergoing significant transformation.
