Inter vs Parma: Sucic Favoured After Curtis Jones Injury
Inter will face Parma on Sunday without Curtis Jones, who is expected to miss three to four weeks with an adductor injury, as Petar Sucic emerges as the reported favourite to replace him.
Football Italia reports that Cristian Chivu has several internal options for the midfield vacancy. Jones underwent medical tests on Thursday and was diagnosed with an adductor injury in his right thigh, described as myofascial.

The 25-year-old started Inter's most recent match before the international break, a 2-2 draw away to Roma, alongside Nicolo Barella and Piotr Zielinski. Jones joined from Liverpool during the summer transfer window for €35 million, and his absence now gives Chivu a decision to make for the Parma fixture and the weeks that follow.
Sucic Leads Inter's Options to Replace Jones
Assuming Barella and Hakan Calhanoglu start, the available alternatives for Jones's place are Zielinski, Sucic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Aleksandar Stankovic. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Sucic is the leading candidate to start against Parma.
The Croatia international came off the bench in his country's final match of the international break. Zielinski, by contrast, started all four of Poland's games and played the full 90 minutes on Monday, a factor in the reported preference for Sucic.

Mkhitaryan is next in the reported pecking order, while Stankovic is also expected to receive opportunities during Jones's absence. The choice would offer Chivu an immediate replacement from within the squad, without changing the core midfield pairing he is expected to select.
Jones's arrival at Inter came during the summer transfer window, and his injury now places the focus on how the existing group covers that role.
