Recapping Christian Braswell's 2025 season
He appeared in all 17 regular season games, serving primarily as a contributor on special teams, where he played 176 snaps, regularly contributing to four of the six different phases. Defensively, Braswell provided depth, playing 160 snaps over 10 games. Braswell logged 14 total tackles (11 solo) and three passes defensed.
Looking ahead to 2026 for Christian Braswell
Braswell will need to fight to claim a spot in a crowded cornerback room. Travis Hunter , Montaric Brown , Jourdan Lewis , and Jarrian Jones are all roster locks, and there will likely be one or two more spots on the roster available. If there is only one spot available, Braswell's main competition will be Jabbar Muhammad , who has been performing well so far during offseason training.

Braswell helped his case last season by proving he could contribute on special teams and step in as reliable cornerback depth when needed. If he can do that again this summer during training camp, he should have a real shot to hold onto one of Jacksonville's final roster spots.
