Looking ahead to 2026 for Zach Durfee
As a late-round draft pick, Durfee will still have an uphill climb when it comes to making the final roster. Josh Hines-Allen and Travon Walker will continue to lead the unit, but Durfee will be competing with Danny Striggow , BJ Green, Wesley Williams, and Bryan Thomas, Jr. for snaps.

For what it's worth, last year the Jaguars rostered six defensive ends, but some teams will keep only five. Working in Durfee's favor is the high praise he has already received from defensive coordinator Anthony Campanile. But to make the final roster, Durfee will need to build on that praise and turn it into an impressive performance in training camp.
Being able to contribute on special teams may be an important part of the evaluation process.
