The Jacksonville Jaguars have to be fairly happy with their standing heading into Week 8.
The team is easily atop the AFC South and has looked like one of the best teams in the league so far. As a result, it seems likely that the Jaguars will be players in the trade market ahead of November's deadline.
Before Week 7, Jaguars' swing tackle Walker Little was considered a likely trade candidate. The Jaguars' starting line is set, and Little is a solid backup. However, Little is all of a sudden, a crucial piece due to Anton Harrison suffering a season-ending injury.

As mentioned above, Little is going from prime trade candidate to crucial starter. The good news is, Little has plenty of starting experience in his career.
Little started in 14 games for the Jaguars in 2025 and has 40 total starts in his career. As a result, it's not as nerve-wracking to start Little as it would be to start a rookie or career backup.
"I've learned a lot over my career and watched guys that have kind of been in my position as that sixth O-lineman, how they've done it, how they stay ready for the moment," Little said Monday
. "It's just staying locked in, not letting things slip through the cracks even though you may not get the opportunity to play, so that when your number is called you can jump in and flow with the offense."
Little has big shoes to fill. Harrison had been a very solid blocker for the Jaguars, with PFF giving the former first-round pick
a 68.8 overall grade in 2026.
Head coach Liam Coen also praised Little and expressed full confidence in the veteran stepping in.
"Excited about him and his opportunity. There's not many guys that care more than Walker in a lot of ways about this team and about this group of guys."
