For example, four total players in the NFL had multiple interceptions this week. Two of those four were former Alabama players.

Before we get into our weekly list of the top five standouts, two other names worth mentioning are that of Derrick Henry and Germie Bernard. Henry also had a 100-yard rushing day in the Ravens overtime win over the Falcons on Sunday night and Bernard had a career-high 80 receiving yards for the Steelers in their 34-22 win over the Colts.
Here is a look at Alabama's five best performances of NFL Week 5.
Jahmyr Gibbs, Running Back - Detroit Lions
Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs (0) runs the ball against the Arizona Cardinals at State Farm Stadium in Glendale on Oct. 11, 2026.
Jahmyr Gibbs remains right in the discussion for the top running back in the league. This week as the Lions blew out the Cardinals, 45-21, Gibbs had a monster day with over 200 yards from scrimmage. He finished up with 25 carries, 151 rushing yards, five catches, 56 receiving yards, and two rushing touchdowns. The 151 rushing yards was the second-most in the league this week. For the season, Gibbs is fourth in the NFL in rushing yards and is tied for the most rushing touchdowns among running backs with Henry.
