Tottenham Hotspur have just issued a positive injury update on Wilson Odobert, and his teammates are delighted to see him closing in on a return.
The North London club have had such bad injury luck over the last two years, but they are starting to finally get all of their players back.
Following Dejan Kulusevski and James Maddison's returns to full fitness, with Xavi Simons also close to returning, Spurs' squad suddenly looks stacked again.
But having Odobert back could be a very underrated boost for the Lilywhites, as the winger was just starting to improve before his ACL injury.
James Maddison and Xavi Simons react to Wilson Odobert's Tottenham training return
Spurs have confirmed that Odobert is back training on grass at Hotspur Way as he continues to step up his recovery.
James Maddison and Xavi Simons were both delighted to see the French youth international back training in Enfield.
Maddison has been very supportive on social media and commented on SpursOfficial's post with several love hearts.
Meanwhile, Simons appears to be very close to the 21-year-old and also celebrated the latest update.
Odobert suffered the ACL injury back in February and is now getting closer to making his long-awaited return.
Just before his injury, Odobert had been producing some impressive performances for Spurs , particularly when he managed two assists against Borussia Dortmund.
The Frenchman is very clearly a confidence player, and he will need some support from Roberto De Zerbi when he does eventually return.
Odobert's ability to play on either flank makes him a very useful asset to Spurs and such an unpredictable player.
Tottenham have very impressive attacking depth
Once Simons, Odobert, Savinho and Mykhailo Mudryk all return to full fitness, Spurs will have very strong attacking depth.
Luca Williams-Barnett's emergence at Tottenham now means that the club have yet another impressive attacker on their hands.
Williams-Barnett certainly looks to be a diamond from the academy and a player De Zerbi should be looking to prioritise.
Mohammed Kudus and Savinho are likely to be the first choice options on the wing, with Odobert the main backup on the right and Williams-Barnett on the left.
Dejan Kulusevski and Mathys Tel could both be moved into more central areas to help fix Spurs' lack of a number nine.
Kulusevski could be an interesting option in the false nine role ; meanwhile, Tel has previously shown that he can also play as a striker.
