TheFloridadefense faced a top-five team with an elite quarterback and held its own. Their game againstOle Misswas by far their most impressive outing of the season, and they defeated them, 52-28.
TheGatorsforcedTrinidad Chamblissinto multiple turnovers en route to their victory, thanks in large part to the excellent pass-rushing that JACK Jayden Woods displayed, which earned himGatorsWire's defensive player of the gamefor Week 4.

Woods' final stat line for the Gators was four tackles, two of which were solo, plus a sack and two tackles for a loss.
TheFloridadefender was the highest-graded pass rusher in the game against Ole Miss, with a grade of 75.9. Woods also finished with the second-highest defensive player grade, 76.6.
In true passing sets, Woods earned an 86.8 grade from PFF, 20 points higher than second place, highlighting his impact on the defensive line's performance.
Florida's offense has proven it can score against anyone; now its defense has stopped a top team in the conference. If this continues, the Gators will have many College Football Playoff games in their future.
