Juventus already thinking of permanent signing of Guglielmo Vicario
Guglielmo Vicario was never Juventus' first choice target in the last transfer window, but he became the goalkeeper they eventually signed after joining on loan from Tottenham . The Italian has so far proven to be a fine addition, making superb saves that are making it hard for Juve to ignore him, even though the Bianconeri still plan to pursue Alisson Becker next summer .
The Brazilian was the keeper they originally wanted, but Liverpool refused to release him, which led them to Vicario after similarly failing to sign Emiliano Martinez from Aston Villa. So far, Vicario has done well, and he also wants to move to Juve permanently or at least away from Tottenham for good. Tuttomercatoweb says he may have won over Juve, with the Bianconeri now keen to keep him.

Vicario's Rise at Juventus
The report says the Old Lady is already thinking about making the move permanent, as they retain an option to do so for around 8m euros. That move will be an important one for both the goalkeeper and Juventus, especially if Liverpool offer to extend Alisson's contract again, which could leave Vicario as the first choice at the Allianz Stadium next season.
The club values his consistency and shot-stopping ability, and his adaptation to Serie A has impressed coaching staff. Long-term security at the position remains a priority, with Tottenham's stance on a permanent deal yet to be clarified. Juve's option provides flexibility in negotiations, and financial terms will be key to finalising any agreement.

Future Plans and Contract Scenarios
Supporters have responded positively to his performances, and his presence has added stability to the defence. The coming months will determine his future in Turin, with both parties aware of the stakes involved.
Juventus sees Vicario as a reliable option while they plan for the future. His loan spell has exceeded initial expectations, strengthening the case for a permanent deal. The goalkeeper's own ambitions align with a long-term stay in Italy.
Negotiations are expected to intensify as the season progresses. All parties understand the importance of clarity ahead of next summer's window. Vicario's trajectory suggests he could become a cornerstone of Juve's plans.
