Juventus eyes sensational move for World Cup winner
Juventus ' goalkeeper search has taken them to Spain, where they are now being linked with a move for World Cup winner Unai Simon .
The Athletic Club goalkeeper is regarded as one of the best in the world and keeps Arsenal 's David Raya and Barcelona 's Joan Garcia on the bench when Spain are on international duty. That highlights his quality, given that both goalkeepers play for bigger clubs, yet Simon remains the national team's first choice.

Simon has helped Spain achieve success at Euro 2024 and the 2026 FIFA World Cup, establishing himself as one of the leading goalkeepers in international football. He would be expected to perform well at any club he joins, and Juventus are interested in making him their next number one.
Juventus want a top goalkeeper
The Bianconeri are determined to sign a top-class goalkeeper this summer after missing out on Alisson Becker and Emiliano Martinez . Their search will continue, and Simon has now emerged as another potential target as Juventus look to strengthen their squad.
A move for the Athletic Club goalkeeper would give Juventus an experienced and proven option between the posts. His performances for Spain demonstrate his ability to operate at the highest level, while his continued role as the national team's first choice makes him an attractive target.

Simon faces difficult decision
According to Football Italia , Juventus are now looking to add Simon to their squad and will continue doing their best to complete a deal for the goalkeeper.
However, the transfer would be difficult to complete. Moving to Turin could represent a risk for Simon if he wants to maintain his position as Spain's number one. Leaving Athletic Club could affect his regular playing time and create uncertainty over his role with the national team.
Simon would therefore need to think carefully before deciding whether to leave Athletic Club. Juventus can offer him the opportunity to become their first-choice goalkeeper, but the goalkeeper will also have to consider the importance of maintaining his status with Spain.

For now, the Bianconeri remain interested and will continue their search for a top-class number one. Simon's quality makes him an appealing option, but Juventus will have to overcome significant obstacles if they want to bring him to Turin.
