Juventus Keep Being Active in the Goalkeeping Market
Juventus will completely overhaul their goalkeepers as, after swapping out Michele Di Gregorio for Guglielmo Vicario , Mattia Perin is also on his way out, and Kamil Grabara is in pole position to be their new deputy, Gianluca Di Marzio reports.
The Italian goalie is poised to move to Palermo to resume being a starter after several years as the no.2 in Turin. The Rosanero recently lost Jesse Joronen to a shoulder injury. They set their sights on an ambitious target, who accepted, even though they are in Serie B. The Bianconeri will facilitate his exit. The move was delayed simply because of the opener.

In fact, Perin saw some minutes late because Vicario subbed off with cramps, making his last Juventus appearance. He accumulated 71 during his multiple spells at the club. He had returned to Genoa for two seasons before settling in a backup role.
After probing a few options, such as Emil Audero , who's a homegrown player, Pietro Terracciano , and Pierluigi Gollini , the Bianconeri zeroed in on Grabara. The deal should go through on loan with an option to buy without a hitch. He has played at Wolfsburg for the past two campaigns, keeping 12 clean sheets and conceding 120 goals in 69 displays. He spent most of his career at Copenhagen and starred six times with Poland.
Our Take on the Juventus Goalies
Perin likely made up his mind about leaving only after the Old Lady found a new starter, which wasn't a given, considering how long and how many tries it took. Finding a young-ish backup who's accepting the demotion isn't too shabby.
