Juventus new summer signing suffers fresh injury
What a start to life Jeff Ekhator has had at Juventus , as the young striker has suffered a fresh injury setback, according to Football Italia .
Ekhator moved to the Allianz Stadium this summer and suffered an injury during his first minutes as a Juventus player. As a result, he has not featured for the Bianconeri since pre-season, leaving him waiting for an opportunity to demonstrate what he can offer.

The Bianconeri had placed him on a specialised programme in recent weeks as he prepared to return to full training in the coming days. The plan was for the young striker to gradually increase his workload before becoming available for selection.
However, while the club expected him to return and become involved in their next matches, the latest development has complicated those plans and created further uncertainty over his recovery.
Another setback for Ekhator
The report says the striker has suffered another injury blow, effectively representing a setback in his recovery from the previous problem. He is now expected to remain out of action for longer than the club had initially wanted.

It is not the start to life that the Bianconeri had envisioned for their young striker. His continued absence could also affect Juventus' plans for their attack, particularly with uncertainty surrounding David.
If David leaves in the next few hours, Juventus may have to sign a new striker this summer. Ekhator's latest injury means the club cannot rely on his immediate return as they look to maintain sufficient options in attack.
Ekhator faces uncertain future
Ekhator now risks missing his opportunity to prove to the club that he can perform well for their team. His latest setback could make it even more difficult for him to establish himself at Juventus in the short term.

The club could also consider sending him out on loan once he returns to full fitness, particularly if he continues to struggle for opportunities. Several loan spells could provide him with the playing time needed to develop and demonstrate his ability.
For now, however, Ekhator's priority will be recovering from this latest injury and returning to fitness. Juventus will have to manage his recovery carefully while also deciding whether another striker needs to be brought in.
