- Key FSU linebacker leaves Central Arkansas game with injury

The story has been updated.
The FSU Seminoles are in control against the Central Arkansas Bears in the third quarter, but starting linebacker Chris Jones left the game with an apparent injury.
Jones returned to the field on FSU's next defensive possession.
He appeared to injure his left leg when he got tangled with his own teammate and went down after the play. He struggled to put weight on his left leg, getting carried off the field and into the medical tent on the sideline. The injury occurred with FSU winning 24-7 with 12:27 remaining in the third quarter.
Jones has been FSU's top linebacker this season and arguably their top defensive player overall. The Southern Miss transfer entered the game with 21 tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss. He started all four games and had three tackles against Central Arkansas before leaving.
FSU's linebackers have been the strength of the defense to start the season, but their depth is being tested. Freshmen Izayia Williams and Daylen Green will both miss the rest of the season, and Blake Nichelson is set to miss an "extended period of time," according to head coach Mike Norvell.
