Anunoby was the hero for the New York Knicks in Game 4 of the NBA Finals, making the game-winning putback to survive the Spurs, 107-106, in one of the biggest comebacks in sports history.
Madison Square Garden exploded after Anunoby flew in for the fearless tip-in with 1.2 seconds left after Jalen Brunson missed his three-pointer. It will go down as one of the most memorable plays in the storied lore of the Knicks .
New York trailed by 27 points at halftime. But the squad did not lose focus. Anunoby revealed what he told his teammates during the break, as reported by ClutchPoints' Kris Pursiainen.
"I'll just say stuff like, 'We're fine. Stay with it, we're fine.' It's a game of runs. We've come back plenty of times. Cut it down to 18, cut it down to 12, cut it down to six. Pushing through. It's a 48-minute game. Just play to the end," said the hard-nosed forward.

The Spurs led by as much as 29 points.
The 28-year-old Anunoby finished with a postseason career-high 33 points on 10-of-15 shooting from the field, including 7-of-9 from beyond the arc. He also had four rebounds and helped defend Victor Wembanyama.
He made a crucial block against De'Aaron Fox with 11 seconds left, which gave the Knicks another possession, setting up Anunoby's game-winning bucket.
Anunoby is known for his toughness and all-business approach. He keeps his head down and does his job. No fanfare. No shenanigans. A total workhorse. That is why fans in New York love him .
He is averaging 23.8 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.0 steals, and 1.5 blocks in the NBA Finals.
